This magnificent 15ct Yellow Gold brooch features a lovely fox jumping through a horseshoe with a textured fur across the surface and a riding crop running along the back.
Riding jewellery was popular in the Victorian era and was usually worn by women of social standing who partook in activities such as riding or hunting and wore these pieces as a symbol of their love for the sport.
The piece is fitted with a sturdy pin on the reverse and displays beautiful workmanship throughout. It is highly collectable and steeped in Victorian history.
