This is a fabulous large Scottish Agate brooch with cairngorm
in the centre complimented with smaller cairngorms set into
the Scottish silver gallery along with lovely natural agates.
Circa 1860
Lots of lovely natural agates are set into this pristine
Victorian Silver Scottish brooch.
The agates have a lovely colour and warmth showing their
natural grain from within.
Scottish Jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it
became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. From the mid 1800's
Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.
The jewellery comprises of different coloured Agates and
Carnelian with the natural graining of the stone showing through.
With a closed backed silver gallery with original pin and over
catch, this really is spectacular.

The Cairngorm measures 12mm across x 12mm down
