This wonderful antique 9ct Gold spider bar brooch is Victorian Circa 1900.
Spider or insect jewellery is highly collectable and was once a symbol of good luck to the wearer during the Victorian Eras.
The brooch is adorned with a lovely spider set with a blue Aquamarine body and crowned with a pink Quartz stone.
Aquamarine is the birthstone of March and is adored for its beautiful clear Ocean blue colour which complements most skin types. The stone was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids, and was used as a token of happiness and good fortune.
The brooch is set in 9ct Yellow Gold and fitted with a sturdy pin and safety chain too.
This is a beautiful, collectable brooch and a great talking piece!

The bar measures 75mm length x 2mm width.
Spider measures 24mm down x 29mm across.
