These fabulous Antique Victorian Paste earrings are Circa 1900.
Set with original Paste stones that are all hand cut, marquise, and round cut, set into the beautiful Victorian gallery.
The earrings have a closed backed Silver setting which is typical of this period.
Paste stones sparkle beautifully captivating the allure of natures beauty.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion.
The top sections of the earrings are lovely clusters on high ct Gold wires.
Stamped with the old 925 hallmark on the reverse for Sterling Silver.
Steeped in English history and purchased in London.
