These wonderful Long Victorian Earrings are set in 18ct yellow
gold and Silver. Fabulous Old Cut paste stones adorn these
beautiful earrings leading to a green paste stone.
The paste stones are set in Sterling Silver.
Old Cut Paste stones sparkle just like Diamonds, captivating
the allure of natures beauty.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the
fire and brilliance of gemstones because it has relatively high
indices of refraction and strong dispersion, The Romans in
particular were very skilful in the production
of coloured - glass pastes.
These are stunning with a lovely Victorian design in the
centre, steeped in history.
The back of the earrings are sterling silver, the wires are gold.
They are possibly made from a Victorian Collar.
These earrings weigh 9.2 grams
They measure 52mm in length
The Green Paste stone measures 7mm across x 9mm down
These will look fabulous worn for a special occasion or a wedding.
