VINTAGE CLASPED HAND FEDE RING SILVER
This ingeniously crafted Sterling Silver fede ring depicts two hands clasped around a central heart. Three slim shanks have been joined with a hinge which allows them to separate, revealing the heart beneath.
Fede rings are named after the Latin ‘fides’, meaning faith, and represented the enduring faithfulness of the love between two people. They were often given as tokens of love. Claddagh rings are Irish variants of this ancient style.
