This utterly unique vintage serpent ring has been beautifully crafted in 9ct Yellow Gold with blue, green, white and orange enamel delicately set throughout. The level of craftsmanship is extremely high – the enamel and gold have been beautifully woven together to create a highly detailed and intricate pattern.

Serpent jewellery became popular in the Victorian era after the young prince Albert presented his beloved Queen Victoria with a serpent ring whilst the two young royals were courting. By association with this great love the snake motif came to represent deep affection and devotion.

This is a wonderful piece, truly unique and stunning to behold.
