ART DECO CZECH BLUE PASTE COLLAR NECKLACE CIRCA 1930
This spectacular Art Deco Czech blue Paste necklace is Circa 1930.
It is adorned in 21 beautiful rich blue Paste Stones, with 21 smaller white Paste Stones that are nested in-between, set in Base Metal.
Paste is hand-cut glass that has been polished with metal powder until it shimmers like a gemstone. They are also a transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, because they have a relatively high indices of refraction and a strong dispersion.
The reverse of the necklace is beautifully engraved showing brilliant craftsmanship from the era.
Looks fabulous when worn perfect for a wedding or special occasion.
Weighs 31.3 grams.
Measures 15.5 inches in length.
Each Blue Paste measures 13mm across x 8mm down.
