A beautiful Antique late Victorian ring modelled in 18ct Yellow Gold with three gorgeous rich red Rubies and four old cut Diamonds. The centre Ruby is approx. 0.25ct with 0.10ct outer stones making a total of approx. 0.45ct across the face.
Ruby was a favourite among kings and emperors across the globe and a worthy rival of the Diamond, boasting a fiery red flame which has long been worshipped as a symbol of love and passion.
The stones are all gypsy set into the face with lovely scrolling motifs at each side. It is complete with hallmarks within the shank that have worn over time but indicate the ring was possibly made in Sheffield in 1894.
