This exquisite Antique Mourning locket is from the mid Victorian era (Circa 1870). It’s fashioned in 18ct Yellow Gold with a halo of seed Pearls surrounding an engraved emblem in the centre.
The entire locket features beautiful engraved artistry with a fabulous geometric border on the front and floral motifs and Forget me nots on the reverse.
Forget me nots carry a long-lasting symbolism of love and remembrance which is why they were popularly featured on lockets containing images of loved ones.
It’s in excellent condition and has windows within so two photographs of your loved ones can be stored within.
