A sweet Antique brooch dating from the mid-Victorian era, Circa 1860. The piece features a colourful Opaline glass dome in the centre complemented by a halo of sparkling Paste Stones and a lovely heart dropper.
Opaline Glass is a colourful form of hand-blown glass which has a striking resemblance to natural Opals radiating blues, pinks, greens and an inner burning orange.
The piece is fashioned in Silver and gilded in Yellow Gold on the reverse. It is a fabulous little brooch and would make a wonderful gift for a loved one.
