ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BUTTERFLY PASTE BROOCH SILVER CIRCA 1880
Recently Viewed
This beautiful Antique Victorian brooch has been modelled to represent the shape of a butterfly in Silver and some Gold is still visible on the back from where it has previously been gilded. The butterfly has been set with an array of Paste stones which are mainly sparkling white stones, with a green stone to represent its body and two gorgeous red stones to represent its eyes.
Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. White Pastes sparkle just like Diamonds and take expert craftsmanship to capture their beauty.
A fantastic brooch which will sparkle in the light and is sure to catch the eye.
