ANTIQUE GEORGIAN PASTE EARRINGS 18CT SILVER CIRCA 1800
These beautiful Georgian Silver earrings are adorned with sparkling Paste Stones, Circa 1800.
Due to its age, Georgian jewellery is quite rare, with some pieces almost three hundred years old. From 1714 until 1837 four King Georges and a short-lived William gave rise to this extended period, spanning many fashions that are reflected in these stunning pieces of Georgian jewellery.
The Paste Stones are 4.5ct each.
Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. White Pastes sparkle just like Diamonds, captivating the allure of natures beauty.
The earrings are backed in Silver fitted with 18ct Gold shepherd hook wires.
