This magnificent antique French Belle Epoque Brooch is genuine Victorian Circa 1900.
The Belle Époque, or the ‘Beautiful era’ spanned three distinct jewellery periods from 1890 -1915. This was a time of increasing wealth and flourishing arts across western society with Belle Epoque pieces worn as a sign of wealth and status.
The wonderful brooch is adorned with Pearls and sparkling white Paste Stones set in a floral setting and accompanied by 3 Pearl droppers.
Pearls have been adored throughout history for their rich creamy tone that is lovely lustrous and natural. A true gift from Mother Nature.
Paste is a transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. White Pastes sparkle just like Diamonds, captivating the allure of natures beauty.
The brooch is all set in Sterling Silver and displays French hallmarks on the reverse and Pin.
Complete with original box with royal blue Velvet interior.
A highly collectable piece that looks stunning when worn.
