This beautiful 9ct Yellow Gold cross pendant is made in the Suffragette style.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking!
The wonderful little pendant is adorned with two violet Amethyst’s, three rich green Peridots and a creamy Pearl in the centre.
Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes.
The cross is all set in 9ct Yellow Gold and complete with hallmarks on the reverse of the bale.
This is a wonderful little pendant, a truly eye catching piece that will look beautiful displayed on a gold chain.
Weighs 3.5 grams.
Measures 13mm across x 36mm down.
Peridots and Amethysts measure 5mm across x 7mm down.
