These lovely Amber and Marcasite earrings are set in Sterling Silver.
The earring are adorned in a 1.50ct Amber which is surrounded by sparkling Marcasites.
Amber is fossil tree resin, which is appreciated for its orange colour and natural beauty.
Marcasite jewellery has been made since the time of the Ancient Greeks. It was particularly popular in the 18th century, the Victorian era and with Art Nouveau jewellery designers. Marcasite's are also known as black Diamonds. They sparkle and shimmer just like real Diamonds.
They are set with clips for none pierced ears.
These have a lovely warm rich honey colour, they are truly beautiful.
925 hallmark can be seen on the reverse.
They weigh 9.4 grams
Measures 20mm down and 15mm across
The Amber measures 7mm across x 9mm down.
Excellent condition all round.
