This fabulous pair of round floral earrings are decorated with twinkling Marcasites set in Sterling Silver.
Marcasite jewellery has been made since the time of the Ancient Greeks. It was particularly popular in the 18th century, the Victorian era and with Art Nouveau jewellery designers. Marcasite's are also known as black Diamonds. They sparkle and shimmer just like real Diamonds.
The earrings are stamped 925 for Sterling Silver and complete with clip on fittings. They are Victorian inspired and show fabulous design and workmanship all round.
