This fabulous Sterling Silver Scottish Agate brooch is set with inlaid Agates, Circa 1860.

Scottish Jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. From the mid 1800’s.

Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.

This beautiful Scottish Silver brooch has the most pristine workmanship throughout.

It shows natural Agates which are set into this excellent Scottish brooch.

The Agates have a lovely colour and warmth showing their natural grain from within.

Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce.

The brooch is complimented with an engraved edged border. 

Shows beautiful craftsmanship form the Victorian era.

With a closed backed silver gallery with original pin.

Purchased in London and steeped in English history.

It weighs 28.5 grams.

It measures 52mm across x 52mm down.
