A wonderful Antique late Victorian crescent moon brooch fashioned in 18ct Yellow Gold and lined with lustrous Pearls which decrease in size towards the tips.
Crescent moons were a symbol of the feminine moon goddess and represented change and female empowerment in the Victorian Era.
It’s a lovely antique find and in excellent condition. It’s held securely by a strong pin and safety chain.
