ANTIQUE VICTORIAN HAND PAINTED BLUE TIT BROOCH 18CT GOLD GILT CIRCA 1890
This wonderful antique hand painted Blue Tit brooch is Victorian, Circa 1890.
The lovely Blue Tit sits perched on a branch above a running river with rich green bushes painted onto a pretty pink back drop.
Victorian jewellery mirrored Queen Victoria’s life with the ‘Romantic’ period producing decorative animal, bird and nature pieces, symbolising the monarch’s sentimental side.
The image is painted on Porcelain and displays beautiful detailing from a skilled hand.
Set in a pretty engraved 18ct Gold gilt frame which is fitted with a sturdy pin on the reverse.
This is a wonderful collectable piece and a true work of art!
