This magnificent Antique Victorian French lavaliere necklace has been modelled in Sterling Silver and set with an array of sparkling white Paste stones. The lavaliere also features the form of a dove in flight, known as a Saint Esprit which is topped with a crown.
A Saint Esprit is a religious symbol that was popular in France during the 18th and 19th century. It features a dove in flight often carrying an olive branch of peace and was a symbol of the Holy Spirit.
