This fabulous Sterling Silver Scottish Agate Victorian brooch is Circa 1860.
Set with Citrine’s in the centre,with with beautiful Agates and Quartz surrounding them.
Citrine’s sparkle and have a crisp, radiant quality about them. The name Citrine is derived from the colour - the yellow of lemon, it is also known as "Gold Topaz" and is the birthstone for November.
The Agate design boasts pristine workmanship.
Each Agate is unique with natural colouring and polished to perfection.
Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce.
The brooch displays inlaid Agates and detailed engravings around the outer gallery.
All set in Sterling Silver.
Complete with pin and C catch and safety chain.
