EDWARDIAN STYLE TANZANITE DIAMOND RING 3.50CT TANZANITE 1.40CT DIAMOND
A stunning Edwardian inspired daisy cluster ring bezel set with a gorgeous oval cut tanzanite in the centre weighing approx. 3.5ct. It has a desirable, deep blue hue with flashes of purple and is haloed by fourteen bright brilliant cut diamond petals around the border with exceptional VS1 clarity - H colour (approx. 1.4ct total).
Unlike other popular gemstones, Tanzanite was not discovered until the late 1960s when a group of Maasai herders stumbled upon the blue stones by chance in the hills of Tanzania. They were first believed to be sapphires but later identified as a variety of blue “zoisite” and the first of its kind. Its rarity and intense indigo-blue colouring have made it the most celebrated gem of the 20th century and is highly sought after today.
The gallery is all 18ct white gold with milgrain edging and a fabulous basket under gallery. It’s truly breath taking and boasts a magnificent collection of natural gems that are sure to leave an impression.
