This beautiful Cameo is carved into Bullmouth Shell, and bordered with a 9ct Yellow Gold frame. The carving depicts a lady’s face in profile and is finely detailed.

Cameos have been carved since ancient times with the most popular motif for a Cameo being the profile of a woman. The fabulous Bullmouth Shell is a common base for Cameo carvings for its beautiful natural patterning which takes expert skill to carve.

The piece is complete with Birmingham hallmarks which date the piece to 1965 precisely. Its elegant craftsmanship makes this piece truly special.
