A unique Victorian Scottish brooch in a wonderful interweaving knot design with floral engraved artistry and polished inlaid Agates.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her frequent trips to Scotland and Scottish Castle Balmoral from the mid 1800s.
Each agate is unique and boasts various earthly colours and patterned layers which are naturally formed, earning it the appropriate nickname ‘The Earth Rainbow’.
The piece is modelled in Silver and fitted with a strong pin. It is steeped in history and is a beautiful example of the era.
