This fabulous antique Victorian Sterling Silver Venetian miniature bracelet is museum worthy, Circa 1860.
The beautiful bracelet displays a detailed colour portrait in the centre depicting a beautiful lady, who is elegantly dressed and adorned with hair jewellery and pearls.
Miniature portrait paintings were popular in jewellery pieces across Europe in the 18th century. The Miniatures were painted with watercolour and usually depicted a loved one so they could be remembered during long periods of separation.
The portrait displays beautiful Venetian artistry.
The workmanship on this bracelet is simply exquisite, very well executed with high relief craftsmanship.
Stamped with the old 800 stamp on the reverse for Sterling Silver.
The bracelet is very well made, solid Silver and is substantial in weight.
Looks fabulous when worn, a magnificent Italian piece that deserves to be treasured.
