At Laurelle Antique Jewellery we know that buying a quality piece of antique jewellery is a big decision, and an investment for the future. That’s why our team of experts personally evaluate every piece we find to ensure that they are authentic historic pieces made from the finest materials.
If you require a written valuation, we can provide this free of charge. We can also provide a recommendation on the amount for which the item should be insured.
Whilst this is sufficient for insurance purposes, we know that for some of our pieces you’ll want a little extra assurance.
Certification
To ensure that we can provide peace of mind to go with your purchase we have partnered with the AnchorCert Gem Lab, the UK’s premium gemmological facility.
AnchorCert are an independent gemstone laboratory located in the United Kingdom. Their grading and testing services assess the key qualities of a diamond, and most importantly ensure that the stone is a natural gemstone.
Having a diamond certified adds real value to your investment, as well as providing a great deal more information on the stones.
AnchorCert’s certifications are provided by a team of highly qualified gemmologists. Their laboratory is equipped with state of the art equipment to accurately assess the quality and composition of gemstones.
AnchorCert’s diamond reports provide additional information on the central stone in solitaire rings, including an assessment of colour, cut and clarity, as well as the carat weight of the stone. The diamond report also comes with a digital image of the stone. You can see an example of one of the reports below.
For any diamond ring over £2,000 we will arrange for a certificate free of charge, giving you absolute peace of mind.
